PLATINUM SPONSOR

HOST SPONSOR

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is focused on providing one integrated land transport system that helps people get the most out of life and supports business, today and for the future. Road to Zero is Aotearoa New Zealand’s road safety strategy that sets us on a path to achieve Vision Zero, an Aotearoa where no one is killed or seriously injured on our roads. Underpinned by the Safe System approach, Waka Kotahi is creating a transport system that recognises humans make mistakes and is designed so these mistakes don’t need to cost us our lives. Through Road to Zero we are investing in safe infrastructure, getting people into safe vehicles, setting safe speed limits and encouraging people to be safe, sober drivers who wear their seatbelts and focus on the task of driving

Auckland Transport

Auckland Transport (AT) is responsible for all the region’s transport services (excluding state highways), from roads and footpaths, to cycling, parking and public transport. AT keeps the transport system moving, creating easy journeys and making the network safe. AT, with partners in the Tāmaki Makaurau Transport Safety Governance Group has adopted a Vision Zero approach, aimed to eliminate transport deaths and serious injuries in Auckland by 2050. To achieve this vision, AT is embracing the principles of Vision Zero and aim to deliver a safe system for all transport users, including the most vulnerable people walking and cycling.

VivaCity Labs

Vivacity is the World's leading AI house in Transport Intelligence. Our goal is to introduce the missing pieces of the digital infrastructure underlying transport systems. We empower transport managers to take the next step in improving safety and reducing congestion on the roads, through providing unprecedented insight. Vivacity wants to make those transport managers omniscient.

Vivacity is installing thousands of sensors in Europe, North America, and the ANZ region, which to date have collected over 30 Billion classified transport movements. We have created the world's first transport-focused smart city in Milton Keynes in the UK, as the first step in this journey to revolutionize the way data is collected. Each sensor uses the same technology being built into driverless vehicles, based on machine learning and artificial intelligence on video feeds, in order to gather a level of data that has never been available before.

Using this data, Vivacity is building advanced predictive algorithms to give deep insights into what's going to happen next in the transport system, using Artificial Intelligence to pre-empt the future.

SmartSense

SmartSense was launched in 2020 to assist you capture the hard evidence to demonstrate that investments in cycleways, shared spaces and tactical urban projects are delivering the forecast benefits. Since then, SmartSense has also become largest provider of road traffic tracking and rail passenger monitoring in Aotearoa - providing data that is becoming invaluable to operate and evaluate these ever more complex systems.

Come by our exhibition stand to discover some of the smart technologies that are available to count vehicles, people, cycles and scooters, dwell times in different areas and even the routes taken through your network.
