Welcome Function
Join us in networking with your peers at the end of the first day of conference (Monday 11 November from 5:30pm to 6:30pm) at Claudelands.
The welcome reception is optional and is included in the conference price.
Simply walk through to the pre-function area outside of the Heaphy rooms and voila you’ve arrived! We have some great interactive activities for you to try and hopefully have a lot of fun. You will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities; from learning how to juggle, negotiating an obstacle course, using a variety of transport modes, VR goggles, test driving e-scooters, or e-bikes. Of course you might prefer to network with fellow delegates, enjoying some tasty canapés.
To align with Trafinz’ focus of road safety, alcohol won’t be included in social function tickets. A cash bar will operate.
Additional tickets @ $125 inc GST can be purchased for partners or single day registrations.
Zealong Tea Estate
Awards Dinner
Here is a chance for you to celebrate and unwind with your colleagues and other delegates after an intense couple of days of learning. Join us for the dinner and drinks reception at Zealong Tea Estate from 6:00pm.
The dress up theme is “wear a hat” (suitable for a garden party, high tea, your choice).
Take a wander up the path to the stunning pavilion, enjoy ‘tea mocktails’ and some tasty canapés before walking back to the dinner venue, taking in the views of the tea plantation. Nowhere in NZ is there a unique venue like this.
Trafinz Achievement awards will take place at the dinner, so join us in celebrating the professional success of your colleagues and read more about the winners and winning projects here. The Cedric Rogers Memorial award will also be presented.
